Ostuni

La Città Bianca…a city bathed in white and surrounded by traditional masserie

Our time in Ostuni was filled with traditional Pugliese food, new friends, and lots and lots of steps. We spent several days here, but it could easily be added to your itinerary as a day trip from Monopoli or Brindisi.

EAT

ACQUASANTA

This wine shop and restaurant were the perfect first stop in Ostuni. The Santo Toast is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had - a must try!

After you eat, walk across the street to their wine shop and grab a bottle to enjoy at your Airbnb.

EAT

Osteria del Tempo Perso

You’ll find this restaurant on most guides for a reason - they serve traditional Pugliese dishes and the atmosphere is incredible.

We were able to easily get a reservation by dining “early” at 7:00 PM.

DO

Mercatino Antiquariato Ostuni

We got incredibly lucky to experience the antique flea market in Ostuni as they typically only hold it once per month. They added an extra date in August that happen to coincide with our visit. Check out their Facebook page for upcoming market dates!

EXPERIENCE

Alesia Experience Cooking Class

Our cooking class at a traditional masseria right outside of Ostuni was one of the highlights of our trip. Under dreamy arbors covered in grape vines we learned to make focaccia, orecchiette, and cheese. This was a top-tier experience and I highly recommend.
