I’ve been to Spain twice in the past two years, with time in Sevilla, Barcelona, and Madrid. Sevilla felt like a city washed in sunlight — vivid colors everywhere, street music echoing through narrow streets, and dinners that didn’t begin until nearly midnight. Barcelona was a feast for the eyes, endlessly visual and alive, where wandering without a plan felt like the whole point. Madrid arrived softer and cooler, defined by golden hours that seemed to transform the city twice a day.

Across all three, Spain felt expansive and freeing, the kind of place that makes you feel more alive just by being there.
